Significant Experiences
I enlisted for four years. The Korean
War ended July 27th, 1953. Congress cut finances to the Military and the
Air Force allowed anyone with 3 years service by 9/15/53 could get
released. They offered me Staff Sergeant E-5 to stay one more year.
I declined.
